I have every Texas Almanac dating back to 1904 (except 1913). This is the worst edition I’ve seen. I plan on sending
a lengthy email to whoever was in charge of this mess.

I get the Texas Almanac every year. It will tell you just about all if not all of Texas. Would not miss getting a copy.

This updated Texas Almanac is exceptional. I love the layout and the sections. Yes, I love the small font because you were able to cram so much more information into the book. And, I bought the first year’s official book of Texas.

Bought 26-27 Texas Almanac.
Easy to order, shipped promptly and received in good condition. I would likely buy some books and maps in the future. The other Merch offerings are mostly lame, not anything I’d buy.

Texas is a world all its own, and the Texas Almanac offers a glimpse into it. I see the almanac as an indispensable tool for any backroad traveler.

Excellent reference on so many topics. Love these books.

I found the Texas Almanac 2026-2027 to be downsized tremendously. The individual 254 Counties maps vary in size from the normal to miniaturized versions, many are unreadable. This may have been done to save on paper content, but it’s not very user friendly.
Also, an update for the upcoming Texas Almanac 2028-2029 edition. Please change, everywhere they appear, the railway names and abbreviations from (KCS) Kansas City Southern and (TM) Texas Mexican Railways to (CPKC) Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railways. This amalgamation took place a few years ago and now Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railways, abbreviated CPKC, is the proper title.

So great to see this vital book returning to hard copy again. I still have my 1981 copy. Also, as you may know my grqandfather, John avery Lomax published THE BOOK OF TEXAS in 1916, fourteen years before the Dallas Morning News luanched the Texas Almanac!
