We are so excited about this. I bought it for my husband for Christmas, but I didn't look at it before hand. I was just as anxious to see it as he was. We live in Kimble County now and we are going to have the map framed for our "Texas Collection" that we have been adding to for years.
The kind of sad part is - we love our little place here, but this map reminds us that no one ever really "owns" a piece of Texas. Someone else was here when that map was made. We just have the privilege of taking care of it for now.
